Miami, Aug. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ocean Bank announced today it has enhanced its wealth management Ocean Financial Services subsidiary with the addition of five seasoned investment professionals serving local and international customers.
Joining Ocean Financial Services from EFG International are Mario Fernandez, Alexandra Rumié, Henry De Valle, Daniel Cabrera and Maria Luisa De Jesus.
“This team brings a multi-disciplinary approach to asset management that complements and strengthens Ocean Financial’s existing wealth management platform” said Agostinho Alfonso Macedo, Ocean Bank’s President and CEO.
Fernandez joined Ocean Financial Services as senior vice president. The former director of EFG’s KeyStar Group, Fernandez has 25 years of experience in financial services and provides advisory services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida and Bachelor of Science degree in finance from The Florida State University, where he graduated at the top of a class of 7,718 seniors.
Rumié, who has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, oversees the team’s family office offering. She earned a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. Prior to the KeyStar Group, she worked as a wealth advisor at SunTrust Bank and as an international private banker at Grupo Santander.
De Valle focuses on portfolio investment analysis. He earned degrees in Finance and Multinational Business from The Florida State University and has over 18 years of investment services experience.
Cabrera and De Jesus joined Ocean Financial Services as investment analysts.
